Artificial intelligence is not Skynet: How ai will impact our lives and careers

On April 25th, 2018 Group Sixty is partnering with the Berkeley-Haas Alumni Network, the Rady School of Management,  and Sheppard Mullin to host an artificial intelligence panel. The event will showcase local AI advancements in industries as diverse as technology, manufacturing, life sciences, and financial services. The intention is to demystify the field of AI while informing attendees about future opportunities and implications of AI. In addition to leading edge content, the event provides an opportunity to connect with leaders and innovators in the San Diego business community.


Beating Mr. Robot: How to Protect You and Your Company from Hackers

Data breaches have a devastating impact on business and personal privacy. The Equifax breach is the most recent example of hackers taking advantage of corporate vulnerability. Shows like Mr. Robot have surged in popularity as our curiosity with hacking and cybersecurity continues to grow.
Given the importance of this critical topic, Group Sixty partnered with the Berkeley-Haas Alumni Network and Sheppard Mullin to host an interactive session on October 18th to demystify cyber-terrorism. The session was led by a Special Agent from the FBI Cyber Crime Division and Cyber Attorney Justine Phillips from Sheppard Mullin.

SAN DIEGO INNOVATION PANEL: BEST PRACTICES FROM BUSINESS LEADERS

Darren Reinke, Managing Director of Group Sixty, moderated an innovation panel at the Rady School of Business at UC San Diego on September 15th, 2016. The panel was hosted by the Berkeley-Haas Alumni Network in partnership with the Rady School and focused on disruptive technology and business models, how to foster a culture of innovation, and other topics related to innovation.
